The first Polish variety of Highbush Blueberry is a bush with upright habit and firm shoots. It grows up to 2 m and gives a rich yield. Large, slightly oval fruits are 14-20 mm in diameter with a slightly spicy taste and full flavour. Ripening season begins in early August and lasts until September. Blueberry Bonifacy is resistant to fungal diseases. The variety was created by: Kazimierz Pliszka, Hanna Karwowska, Sylwester Bonifacy Nowosielski and Henryk Rojek.
