A hydraulic motor is a mechanical device, which transforms hydraulic pressure and flow into torque resulting in angular displacement or rotation. A hydraulic motor is used as the rotatory counterpart of a hydraulic cylinder. Conceptually, a hydraulic pump should be interchangeable with hydraulic motor. However, hydraulic pumps cannot be used in place of hydraulic motors because they cannot be back-driven. Hydraulic motors have a variety of applications including winches, crane drives, military vehicles, self-driven cranes, excavators, conveyors, feeder drives, mixer, agitator drives, roll mills, drum drives, shredders for cars and trench cutters. A Geolink hydraulic motor is a high torque orbital motor. The device weighs 6.7400 Kg. http://amplify.com/u/a1d5sa
