A first aid box is a container, which is used to store medical supplies and equipment for giving first aid. First aid boxes are usually made from plastic, wood, steel and aluminum. The contents of a first aid container depends on the requirements of the individual using it. A first aid container usually contains adhesive bandages, elastic bandages, gauze, cotton swabs, alcohol pads, adhesive tapes, salines, medical soaps, antiseptic solutions, antibiotic ointments, calamine lotions, hypoallergenic, hemostatic agent, thermometers, scissors, tweezers, gloves and safety pins. First aid kits also contain medicines, such as Aspirin, Paracetamol, Ibuprofen and other pain killers. It is preferable to store the first aid kit in a clean, dry and waterproof place to keep to the contents safe. http://amplify.com/u/a1l8cx
