Candacort cream is a type of antiseptic cream, which is used to treat dermal infections that are accompanied by inflammatory symptoms. The white cream consists of 10mg Hydrocortisone and 10mg Clotrimazole in a water-miscible base. The inert water-miscible base comprises of white soft paraffin, emulsifying wax, liquid paraffin, purified water and Chlorocresol. The affected area should be properly washed and dried before applying the cream. Apply the cream to affected area and surrounding areas and rub slowly. Apply the cream twice daily or as directed by the physician. For best results, it is preferable to apply the cream daily. In case you experience irritation or sensitivity, consult a doctor immediately. Avoid using the cream on children below the age of 2 years.
